Mastering the Presidential Search Process is a two-day, hands-on program designed to provide the tools necessary for success at every stage of the presidential search process.

Senior executive leaders currently holding a position of Dean or higher at any two-year or four-year institution are invited to apply. Applicants from member institutions of American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) are eligible for discounted program fees.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS TO INCLUDE:

  • Receive resume and cover letter feedback from search consultants and colleagues
  • Engage in mock interviews with feedback from search consultants and colleagues
  • Refine presentation skills required for searching for a presidency
  • Learn from recently appointed college and university presidents about their journeys to the presidency
  • Discuss post-search negotiation to smooth your transition
